Our Director of Social Media and Online Marketing will implement a comprehensive marketing program directly targeting our customers. We have embarked on a companywide Social Media program to increase our online visibility to all of our customers. We have introduced a variety of integrated marketing strategies for both online and offline channels. We have found that our existing Facebook pages that have been developed at each of the Colleges that we currently serve, can provide instant information about our services, generate discussion, collect feedback, and most importantly build relationships. Email marketing through Constant Contact has proven to be an extremely powerful tool in reaching out to all of our customers. Recipients receive valuable information about upcoming events, value meals and specials, or new menu items or concepts. The results are tangible in that we see an immediate response to our communications through active participation in our events or promotions. Under the Management of Metropolitan Food Service inc., our very own smart phone app from Menuetta is the latest marketing initiative currently being implemented at all of the Universities that Metropolitan Food Service operates. The mobile app is designed to provide our customers all of the important information that they need about the DiningServices Operations on campus. Everything from locations and hours of operations, to menus, value meals, and specials will be available at the touch of a button on any smartphone platform. The best part is that the app isn’t an app at all. It is a website designed to be viewed on any smart phone device. Through our marketing platform developed by Menuetta, Metropolitan Food Service will also have the ability to communicate with our customers through SMS text messages.Our messages will be full of valuable coupons, specials, or notices about upcoming events like our annual Local Farmers Market or Halloween costume contest.
